5 days tour of Mundari Heartland

6 Months October 2021 - March 2022.

Mundari are found in Central Equatoria State of South Sudan, they are part of the Karo people a section of the Nilotic group.  They are predominantly cattle herders but they also do some little farming and fishing. Their main settlements in Central Equatoria State are Terekeka, Gemeza Mangalla and Tali. They most spend their time in their cattle camps or at their villages going about with their daily life. They are very hospitable people and over the years they have allowed outsiders to visit them and experience what it takes to be a Mundari.

When you are in the Mundari Heartland you get a chance to live with them in cattle camps and witness the daily activities or spend time in their villages and meet their chiefs and elders. If lucky enough you can also be a spectator in some of their wrestling marches that are done during the dry season.

Mundari are among the tallest people on Earth.

Mundari Cattle camp tours and tribes tours should be among the list of things to do when in Juba City and South Sudan.
