This tour will cover 5 tribes of Mundari(or Dinka), Lopit, Boya, Taposa and Jiye. This10 days trip will take you to the Mundari or Dinkaland and then Lopit,Boya before driving to the Taposa land and finish off at Jiye territory.
Day 1: Arrive in Juba City.
Arrive in Juba City, where our team will pick you up at Juba International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon will be spent at the riverside or tour of Juba.
Day 2: Drive to Torit Town.
After breakfast at 9 am, you will drive to Torittown and have lunch while the guide clears permits with the States authorities, and there after proceed to the Lotuko villages. Overnight will be in the tents where meals will be provided.
Day 3:Drive to Boya Hills to meet Boya Tribe
Morning and after breakfast and spending more timeLotuko people and then drive to Boya Hills to meet the Boyapeople and enjoy the breathtaking views of their scenery. You will camp overnight in their village.
Day 4: Drive to Kapoeta.
You will spend the great part of the morning with the Boya people until 10 am and then drive to Kapoeta where you will check in at the hotel, relax, and have coffee while the guide clears with the authorities. You will spend the afternoon in the nearby Toposavillages. .Overnight in a hotel in Kapoeta.
Day 5: Drive to Jiye Territory.
After breakfast, you will depart for Lopet, one of Jiyes’ many villages. Here, you will have lunch and spend your late afternoon interacting with the locals and learning their culture. You will camp overnight in their village.
Day 6: Drive to Taposa villages.
After your morning breakfast, you will drive to one of the largest Toposa villages and spend the rest of the afternoon with them. Camp overnight in their village.
Day 7: Drive back to Kapoeta.
At around 11 am, you will drive back to Kapoeta and on arrival check in to hotel and relax, then tour the town in the evening hours. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 8: Drive back to Juba and straight to Mundari cattle camp.
After breakfast, you will depart for Juba and relax before proceeding to Mundari cattle camp and set up our camp while getting introduced to our host. Overnight in the tents with dinner provided.
Day 9: Half day with Mundari tribe and drive back to Juba.
A half day with Mundari herders and then we drive back to Juba for pre-departure arrangements and check into a hotel. Overnight in a hotel in Juba.
Day 10: Fly Home.
