Located close to the Ethiopian border and covering 22,800 square kilometers, Boma National Park was established in 1986, three years after the outbreak of the civil war which later raged on for 21 years.
It’s home to white-eared kob, Tiang and the Mongalla Gazelle, African buffalo, African elephant, leopard, giraffe, plains zebra, oryx, hartebeest, and cheetah. It’s the ideal place for bird and game viewing.
